Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — the most powerful seed — was sown in this earth, and unexpectedly returned to it on July 27th, 2015. Since then, crores of trees have grown from that seed. One of those trees is our Dr. Abdul Kalam Social Welfare Trust.
It is a non-governmental organisation, registered under the Indian Trusts Act.
Our Abdul Kalam Trust works only to fulfil the dreams and aims of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
"To make India the best possible country for all lives to live in the world."
To empower organizations worldwide by setting the global standard for innovation, sustainability, and transformative technology solutions.
To deliver exceptional value through seamless digital experiences, relentless innovation, and a commitment to customer success.
To empower organizations worldwide by setting the global standard for innovation, sustainability, and transformative technology solutions.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is the most impressive person among India's national leaders.
I came forward to serve social development as one of the ways to carry Dr. Abdul Kalam's dreams and goals. I took part in the events of social development, and did as much as I could for the sake of community development.
My friendships grew through social activities and among nature enthusiasts. Many of my friends began travelling with me, watching my social service and understanding it. Some people encouraged me with financial support and sponsorship.
My service continued for two years, since the seed of Abdul Kalam was first sown in the soil.
At the request of close friends, we needed formal recognition for the occasion. So, on August 30th 2017, Dr. Abdul Kalam Social Welfare Trust was registered with the Tamil Nadu government.
Since then, many more members have joined our Abdul Kalam Trust. What began functioning only in Kancheepuram district has now expanded and started functioning across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
Our Abdul Kalam Trust was created in the belief that "a seed can produce many branches of a tree" — and we are responsible for placing the right people in the right roles across those areas.
"Make a higher commitment" — our Abdul Kalam Trust's motto is to make every social development effort a real change in society.
Our Abdul Kalam Trust's greatest ambition, our vision:
"To make India the best possible country for all lives to live in the world."
Fulfilling the dreams of our Abdul Kalam Trust means answering the need for social development — so we chose to engage in every kind of community activity.
We work on community development in two ways — one is FIELD WORK, and the other is FUNDING. You can contribute in either area that interests you in social development.
Dr. Abdul Kalam Social Welfare Trust is always ready to work alongside other organisations in community development.
Every citizen's duty is to help in community development.
